ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi,
Just wondering if the save games are meant to be compatible across versions.
Been playing beta 15b. Just downloaded beta16 (into a different folder) and then ran it. Logs to online profile fine, but when I select "Load Game" the list is empty.

Is this normal?

In some rare cases it could be compatible, but always assume it is not
