Any idea how long before I can create an online profile to share my acheivements?

The good news is you'll get a website where this is all displayed

Profiles creation has changed a bit and will be available in next beta, until then you can simply create your profile on the new website: http://te4.org/
It will then be available ingame.

I registered on the new website, but I did not get any confirmation e-mail. I did check my spam-folder, to be sure, it's not there either.
I entered the right e-mail adress (I checked back in the browser)

Is there a (long) delay before the message is sent?

It's not sent yet but it's not needed either (but I'll fix it)

It is needed to give me an initial password. Unless there's some way to log in without password?

I am having the exact same issue, I am not receiving any initial password email. I'm trying to create a profile from the te4.org website, rather than in-game.

Oh, and thank you for the immense effort put into this game, It's been a year or more since I last played ToME, and the new system and milieu are amazing!

Does it work now ?

I was able to signup and login to the website.
Unfortunately I cannot login from the game (beta15b). It says "Profile failed to aithenticate. Try logging in in a few moments".
I use the same login which works fine for the website. I also turned off windows firewall just in case, but that didn't help either.

Sorry if I'm being dumb, but I thought I could signup on the website and then login using the game. Or is it nothing online until beta16. I really miss a ladder of all my failed attempts, haven't found a local in-game one? Am I being dumb again or is there no such thing?
