Doing a video of gameplay on Ubuntu

Anyone know of a program that would let me do a gameplay video on Ubuntu? I've tried xvidcap, but it looks all messed up when I look at the video.

I'm a taker too!
i'd liek to post some examples of my extended particles engine taht can now project a shield around the player for spells like displacement/time/disruption shield ;:)

It looks like I needed to disable xdamage in XVidCap.
Edit: I just finished a test video.

Third video. I've also corrected the links. I was hoping to get through the tower in one of these videos. Been having very bad luck.
