Stun stuff

Side note: some of us don't have mice with scroll-wheels. Is there any chance we can get a scroll bar on the messages area, so we can review it, to see what the hell just happened?

I was a bit wounded, and I'd just been blinded. I have no idea how to get rid of blindness. So, for lack of a better idea, I drank a potion of lesser healing. That was the last thing I did before:
Never had a chance to act.
Is there some sort of stun resistance I'm supposed to be finding, learning, etc.? Some way to prevent insta-death by stun? This was a hobbit slinger, level 15.
