Autoexplore landed me into that one.
And here I thought my level 20 berserker would have an easy time of it there.
Is it possible we could have some configurations for Autoexplore - such as "stop before stepping into spinning beams of eldritch death"?
Edit: Or did this happen because I was level 19 when I entered the dungeon? Did something simply go wrong in some trap scaling algorithm? I used to clear Arena around level 10-12 no problems, so it seems weird that this happened this time. Only reason I took so long to get to it this time is because the hidden compound was hidden all the way in the Last Hope portion of the map - usually I find it in the north.
Edit 2: Based on a forum post in Bug - do the spinning beam traps increase damage when somebody steps on them? In that case, might explain somethings in that ring of blood / arena place, as I always have hordes of freed slaves following me. Guess I need to start slaughtering them now for my own survival!

I got one with 1983 damage...but yeah stepping on it boost it...

Why can't TOME 4 has a secret room where you can represent game bugs as, well, enemies you can crush like in Divine Divinity? That would be cool...
