ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I just found 'The ring of Orion' somewhere deep in the Land of Rhun.
It isn't too special for a randart ring, albeit not bad either; it sustains Wis and Cha, provides confusion resistance, levitation, see invisible and regeneration.
Strange thing is, it already said 'Ring of Orion' before I picked it up, as if it was already identified.
I still did need to *identify* it though.

I thought a randart ring should just say 'a ring' before it is identified.
I am sure I did not use my staff of identify when standing on top of it, and the staff is not powerful enough to affect a radius.

This happens with randarts sometimes. Maybe it has to do with the base object the randart is generated from. Some things have flags that allow you to see what they are once you have id'd an item of that type (ring of levitation, for example). Others, like rings of strength, need to be id'd to find out about cursed-blessed, p-values, and so on.
