ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hey folks,

how are the damage modifiers of weapons changed?
I'm looking at the Lethality talent right now and it only seems to set crit chance and modifier, so I assume it's done somewhere else. But even after extensive I can't find it, so I'm either blind or just too tired. I'd appreciate if someone could show me.
