Corruptors can chain criticals, hit damage cap

Crit a disease. Crit catalepsy. Crit Overkill. The damage goes exponential, in the tens of thousands range very easily.

I do believe Catalepsy and Overkill should not be able to crit to avoid this kind of silliness.

Overkill actually can not crit; but yeah I'll remove it from catalepsy

It definitely does more damage than it should if the spell that triggered it crits.

If you crit on a mob that has little hp left, it will do TONS of damage to everything around, as later in the game it does 130% overflow damage. So, kill a mob with 50 hp left, and a spell that does 1000 damage now does 1250 damage to every surrounding mob. I was able to do 8.5k blood grasp crits to a multi-hued wyrm by first using curse of vulnerability and vimsense and then targeting a hatchling with 100 hp left that was standing next to it. I did have amazing gear (top half of telos + lifedrinker, warped boots, ring with +blight damage%, etc.), but still, that kind of damage wipes out everything in game, even if it takes a few turns to set up.

I'm not sure how overkill damage increase, crit multiplier and resistance reduction work together. Perhaps the damage overflow for overkill needs to be looked at for high values of spellpower.

It's not the damage increase. I have done way more overkill damage than the original spell damage with less than 100% overkill power.
