Nightly SVN Builds

Hey folks,
I've gotten really into ToME and I've decided I'll be publishing nightly SVNs compiles for the project. I'm setting up the automation still on my end, but I'll be setting it up to push builds when DarkGod commits changes.
Build Info: No-Music. Win32.
These builds are offered with minimal support. I will be in the IRC and will read this thread but YMMV
Build Date: February 7nd, 2012
Current Build:
t-engine4-windows-1.0.0beta38-020712
Latest Changelog (beta38-20712):
fixed timeline splitting/projectile interaction crash (thanks tiger_eye )
Rune of the Rift paradox reduction reduced to 60
Rune of the Rift should no longer occasionally heal actors
Time Skip once again removes actors from the map rather then time prisoning them
Fix immunities on the Eternal Night set
fix bone shield
Always-center on player is set by default for new players
minimalist UI done, kinda

Holy crap it takes an aeon for new characters to generate, or to cycle through the windows of the level-up screen.
Loading times aside, though, the game now appears to be going a LOT faster for me than it has in the past. This is a very welcome development.
The hovering bits seem to often occlude what's going on, and it's annoying to have to move them around (Minimap, I'm looking at YOU, especially)
Considering this is a work in progress, I'm sure the 2 issues I brought up are well-known, and being addressed as we speak.
That being said, I am excited to see that it appears to hold the promise of having much less lag for those of us who have older PCs.

The initial load when making characters still takes about 2-3 minutes for me. But at least the levelup lag seems to be gone.

The initial load time is due to the module not being packaged as a zip so ToME is having to compute a MD5 checksum for every file in order to validate it. These SVN builds are not going to validate anyway, so I would suggest turning cheat-mode on (which skips the validation) to save yourself the time.

Hi,
Any news on the nightly build? Much has changed on the svn since 6.02.
Cheers upfront for the build

Any idea if this is going to be done again for b39? I have just spent the last few hours trying to learn how to compile and just keep getting booted out so thought I would leave it to the proffesionals, just looking forward to some of the nice changes up and coming and especailly all the bugs that have been ironed out since B38 that have been pretty annoying meaning a few of my fav classes have been all but messed up.
Lloved this one before. nice work.

Is there any way we could get this for b43? I'm itching to try out the changes to Distortion in the new SVN, but I don't know how to compile it myself.
EDIT: for people like myself who are itching for some sweet b43 goodness, here are the instructions Edge gave me in IRC:
edge2054
https://gitorious.org/te4/te4/commits/master
23:33 edge2054 Click the download as tar link
23:33 edge2054 Extract that
23:33 edge2054 Comment out that line in engine/map
23:34 edge2054 Copy your dlls and exe from b42
"That line" is self._map:setImportant(x, y, false)
