* Last spell implemented: Displacement Shield (replacing Recall, we wont have recall, dungeons are shallow enough)
* Store refills less often and cleans before doing so
* Slime mold juice costs more
* Amulet of mastery updated to new talents
* Trap will o more freeze a running player
* Fixed potion of slime juice
* Blood of Life works only once
* Game icon thaks to Shoob (although I did not recompile the game binaries so it wont show)
* Thieves lost the steal talent
* Colored damage text
* And the big change of this RFT, a rework of how levels are saved:
** The engine can now either: not-persist, persist to disk, persist to game or persist to zone, a level
** The wilderness will persist in the main savefile, this means it wont save/reload each time you zone in, which will make wilderness/dungeons switch much quicker
** All other zones are now persisted in a single file, this means while you remain in a zone all existing levels are kept in memory, making the switch between them instantaneous. The levels are all saved with the zone when leaving, so it is a bit slower when leaving/entering a zone. But also much less frequent
Tell me how this feels, I believe it should be much nicer to navigate levels this way

and I will post them here, note that maybe that map I posted above *may* not be public domain, that is where I found it though.
ok... worked on it a bit more,
this folder should have all you need, I combined all the icon sizes into one file too

and you may want to look at the death message again... time flies when you are dead
and yay, unlocked wilders (yes I did get the popup)
there was a honey tree in the very first clearing of the trollshaws : D
but they dont show up in the character creation

[edit: oh, nevermind, you have to *die* to unlock them fully, seems kinda strange.]

That is strange, I know people run multiple characters, so this may need to be "fixed"...

what I did:
unlock it, save and quit without moving (maybe moving would make it ok???), try to start a wilder, wasnt there.
died, resurrected, died again. started a new character, and viola, there it was.

bah... I dont like starting in amon sul at all. like I said a few rfts back, if you make us start in a dungeon, at least make sure we go first, right now I have been swarmed several times in a row by monsters and only got 1 or 2 moves in.

So I started '16 and just for a laugh loaded my 15 save game (in which I had unlocked the Wilder class). The game had shown a level corruption problem so did not go down well in '16 at all (what did I expect?)...
I came back this evening (NZ time) started '16 and have the Wilder available!

So my Wilder then died (fairly promptly!), I began a new character and my Wilder option has disappeared.
Not sure what happened there...
Mean while on to other things:
Cunning/Survival Mastery
Trap Disarm: Learned is Learnt
Wild-gift /Call of the wild
Change to:
Wild-Gift / Call of the Wild (note capitals, do this throughout)
Meditation
???

This is what I see, and all 3 are the same in terms of description. Deliberate?
Wild-Gift / Summoning (distance)
Warper: arras should be harass (note the <h>)
Fire Drake: Fire Drakes a behemoths
Change to Fire Drakes, behemoths that...
Wild-Gift Summoning (Utility)
Turtle: Has the same description as the Fire Imp
Spider: As Warper

Situation...
I created a Mage, and it started with a shimmering mold and a grey mold next to her. She froze the shimmering mold, but was blinded and exited upstairs.
I rested (got sight and spell points back) and returned back downstairs. The shimmering mold was still frozen! Given the amount of time that had passed it should not be frozen.
