Wild Gifts

Hello

As you might have noticed there are multiple power sources (mana and stamina) each for its own kind of talents.
I plan to have a third one (fourth actually since necromancy uses Souls (yes like in Bone to be Wild! :> )) for the Wild Gifts.

Wild Gifts will be the "weird" skills of old, like summoning, mimicry, possession, slime powers, and so on.
They will need a power source too, so gals and guys, the competition for a good, catchy, short and representative name is open ! :)

hmm... essence perhaps? there probably is a better name... but the other things I think of are too silly. (look in a thesaurus for stamina for some examples)

Wild Magic!

A combination of Magic and Cunning derives the amount of Wild Mana you get!

So those specialising in Magic get some Mana, those specialising in Warrior/Rogue skills get some too.

Well I was not envisioning it as magic, more as a closer connection to nature.
This would not be affected by antimagic fields for example.

Asian sounding stuff in middle earth would be kinda weird :)

I had an idea with quicksilver on IRC, the wild gift power could be natural balance (but with a better name), it defaults to 0 and have no max (or rather a quite high max), using wild gifts does not consume this ressource but instead increases it.
The higher it is the less chance to successfully use the ability.
So basically the more you use wild gifts and get "off balance with the nature" the harder it is to use more.
It would come back very slowly (or maybe not at all ?) and could be restored much faster while traveling the wilderness, or "natur-y places" like forests.
Still needa name though ;)
