(besides nothing

)
When you roleplay/play what is under your character's armor? Is it clothing/underclothing/other. I thought of this while recalling other rogue-likes, in nethack you could wear a shirt under your armor. I also thought of the Angband ladder post on pants.

The flayed skin of my fallen opponents!
Umm... not really. I always figured it was normal clothing. The ToME equivalent to a t-shirt up top and perhaps light sweatpants underneath to prevent chafing under that rough armor.

I'd imagine a tunic.

I think you have some sort of appropriate-to-the-character normal unmagical clothing that gives zero protection but also doesn't hinder you. Its sole property in game terms is making the likes of Farmer Maggot take you seriously even if you are not wearing anything else.
Any Ent player characters may very well be totally naked.

Considering all my characters are females, I'd say their armor is an animeish swimsuit...
An elven swimsuit of Mild Ecchi [0, +69] (+15)
It affects your charisma and dexterity by 15.
Don't mind me, I'm dizy.

I could say "nothing, coz my oponents will fear my pantless ninja skills"
But if you ever tried wearing any mail or plate armor without a good stuffed leather coat (with foam or feather for exemple) ... you would know it's uncomfortable to move, and you wouldn't event think to fight

Maybe it's affected by Combat skill?

At 0 combat skill you wear boxer shorts and at 50 you wear a padded leather coat? Sounds silly.

Funniest post yet.

*makes suggestion that said item be added to animeband.*
Edit: Wait... what about traps of masculinity? Surely you've hit a few!
Actually, boxers sounds best to me. I can even cite 4 examples where this occured. (Ghosts and goblins (nes), super ghouls and ghosts (SNES), and Maximo (PS2). And don't forget the last renaissance fair i visited.

(J/k... i never been to a renaissance fair.)
Edit: (Don't mind my stupidity, im just a console gaming freak.)

I always though it was something very light; maybe the char.'s lucky boxers/undershirt/toga etc. But then again it might be their lighest favorite clothes.

Whatever it is, it surely needs washing. You wear it for weeks while exerting yourself heavily and being drenched in, at various times, salt water, stagnant water, silty river water, and blood of various nasty creatures including dragons which are noted for smelling foul. It's amazing all charachters don't start aggravating monsters after a few days of gameplay.
