Is ToME a great game?

I think it is important for me to say right here and now that this game is one of the more comprehensive, non-linear game that I have ever seen! It is simply amazing! I wish to congratulate any and all who have slaved away at this game! DG for ToME and I imagine that Neil is worked very hard on Arda and I await its arrival with impatience!

The last 5 days have had me working on some terribly dull stuff... I look forward to getting back to Arda.

Greatest *Band? Definitely. With Hengband in my opinion trailing at second.
Best Roguelike?... If not first, its a tie between it and Adom.

To call ToME 'great' is an insult (and/or injury
) to all that helped it to get to this point
So, 'no', it's not great! It is more than great!
No, really, I'd reserve the adjective 'great' to games, which I enjoyed thouroughly and never thought "I don't like when this part" while playing them. (And there's grand total of 3 such games, ToME being close behind them, but not close enough).

now I get it, sorry to call you a traitor.
Great is just the adjective that I use when I think something is
the best.
I am also curious to know what those magical 3 are?

Max Payne, Starcraft (with Brood War) and last but not least - ADOM (v1.0.0, for the matter of precision) - these 3 proved immortal for me and the best in their piece of my gaming pie.
