So I've recreated the forum with stuff that makes sense. Now, what I need from you guys.
1: Did I miss any forums of vital importance?
2: Did I put in a forum that has no earthly right to be there?
3: I need links to the bug tracker on the Wiki for redirection links.
4: I'll also be putting up a few topics in the ToME 2.x.x Ideas forum for help with some FAQ's that need to be written.

I keep my objection to a bug forum, as it's very hard to keep track of bugs in a forum software, the Wiki is already a mess.
ToME2.x bugs are on:

ToME3.x bugs are on:

I thought that Neil was in charge of the wiki... has he not been active?

Yeah, Nerdanel and Neil are keeping the Wiki clean, and aside from losing all '?' pages the Wiki is working fine.
What I mean is that managing Tome 2.x bugs is messy, that's why they migrated to a specialized bug tracker tool for Tome3.x. I imagine managing bugs here in the forum will be similarily messy.

So what are you suggesting then? Do you want to have the bugs managed here, on the wiki or somewhere else?

ToME 3 bugs are being managed using FrySpray at bugs.t-o-m-e.net. It has its issues but it makes managing bugs much easier than doing it on the Wiki or the forum.

How about simply deleting the Ideas ToME 2.x forum? There's absolutely no point in having that forum around (and there are no posts after 2004).
EDIT: Argh, meant Ideas not Bugs.

That's probably because the Ideas forum was locked around the same time due to the move to Wiki. Both Ideas and Bugs were transferred.
So the question is if its worth it to have all of this info in one place or two. You think it would be at all worth it to keep the forum up?

The forum and the wiki has two very different use cases and they serve different needs, thought there might be overlap.

I just remembered that the Ideas forum is where I'm keeping all the FAQ topics, so that's not going to be moving any time soon.
I keep thinking that we should really have somewhere that we could use in lieu of both...
