alchemist glitch and workaround (non-coded)

I noticed that if you try to power an artifact with things that need items that apply to more than one thing (ie. invisibility and see invisible, fire immunity and aura, lightning immunity and aura) that if you dont supply 2 of them (it wont give you any error messages, unlike using less for pval things) that it would make all your items that you used say no more foo (where foo is the object) and not do anything to the artifact you were making.
to get your back you need to put everything in a house and it becomes 1 of it then.
iirc, this is something new that happened in either 2.3.5 or the cvs version of 2.3.5. (I am using the cvs version). 2.3.4 worked fine (I think) with alchemists.
