One of the more annoying prospects in the early game is having to do Sandworm Lair with no source of room-lighting to keep track of the caverns as you find them. Ideally, of course, you'll find Summertide Phial (or have access to the Illuminate spell), and failing that, sometimes the Angolwen staff/wand store will have a wand of clairvoyance, but failing both of those, you're stuck.

Well, fixing annoyances with addons is kind of my thing, :twisted: hence my new Let There Be Light addon. This addon places a guaranteed wand of clairvoyance in Angolwen's staff/wwand store, and for antimagic characters, Zigur's mindstar/torque store gets a guaranteed torque of illumination (basically identical to wands of clairvoyance, but without the sense-monsters effect and scaling on Willpower instead of Magic). [And if you thought putting a guaranteed leather cap of the depths into Last Hope's lost merchant store was hard, you wouldn't believe the gyrations I had to go through to get this to work… :roll: ]
