[v1.5.0+] Auto-Rotate Auras/Shields

When playing Mindslayers, I try to keep two of my three auras and two of my three shields up at all times (I expect that's standard practice for Mindslayers, frankly), activating the "spare" aura/shield as soon as I spike one of the active ones. If I have to spike two or three at once, though, I sometimes forget to bring them back up when they come off cooldown.

This struck me as the sort of thing that the game's auto-use system would be ideal for, and since it was too special-case for the existing system, I cooked up an Auto-Rotate Auras/Shields addon. It adds game options "Gameplay | Auto-rotate auras" and "Gameplay | Auto-rotate shields", which do basically what they say. You can specify a "priority order" for each, so that, for instance, if you spike all three shields at once and they all come off cooldown at the same time, you can control which two shields it brings back up.

[Looking ahead, this could maybe go into ZOmnibus, but I suppose it might be considered the sort of "protection from not paying attention" that might disqualify it for ZOmnibus Lite.]

Another improvement that comes to mind would be auto-rotate poisons for Vile Poisons.

(shrug) I don't have any experience with Vile Poisons, so I don't know what kind of auto-rotating would be useful for it. If I did do any work in that area, it would probably be as a separate addon.

Vile Poisons more or less works the same way as Mindslayer shields or auras work: You have 5+ poison sustains available but you can only have two enabled at a time.

I agree that would be fit for a different addon -- I misread this one, and for some reason I thought this addon's "auras" were referring to chants & hymns (i.e. I mistook this addon for a multi-class addon).
