There are no words for how proud I am of their fourth talent.

Presenting the watery not-quite-yeeks in all their hateful ways. Ideal cursed, excellent psions, and I expect they'd be decent necromancers or celestials too.
-Water Breathing
-Slightly better life/stats than yeek
-A 0% exp penalty, however.

Race/yaech
Cruel Thoughts
Long cooldown, pins target.

Sight of the Way
Gives telepathy out to (TL+3), maxing at 8 without category points.

Vengeful Shadow
You go bump in the night better than they do. Mind/Darkness/Blight/Cold resist and resistpen.

Mortify
You apply one of six fears to each foe adjacent to you, using the higher of spell and mindpower.

Yaech are not linked to the Way from what I understand (In fact they are actually rebels/hated by other Yeek because of that, I think?) so that talent doesn't quite make sense. Also, why the fear theme/mortify?

Well, unless I was coding an entire new opening zone for them, I had to tie them in to the yeeks. The playable Yaech are those who are part of the Way. Raised by the Yeeks or having joined them.

I went for fear because they're generally portrayed as cruel, and designing them for Cursed/Doomed gives them a slight separation from Yeeks, who are meant for Psions.

Mild buff to the yaech, to differentiate them from a race I'm working on rn.

Their third talent now provides a buff to cold and blight in addition to darkness and mind. This should allow them a couple more build options without making a single choice virtually necessary for them.

Aaaand sloppily edited some unique (ish) talent icons for them. Apologies to anyone who downloaded 1.01.

Tiny update; their description incorrectly listed their life rating as 10. It is 8 and always has been.
