I've got a few class ideas, but no skill at this yet. I want to see this one idea of mine come to fruition though.
A temporal and psionic resource user, who focuses on teleportation and setting up big effects. At its best I'd like it to run around a map teleporting enemies while tagging them with a debuff, that acts as an explosive resonator; gaining in power the more enemies are together with the debuff. He would also combine previous temporal timeline splitting to view the future, then be able to send a telepathic decoy along the same path.
When he's having a bad day he'd be using teleportation synergies to gain time, while healing with reconstructive teleportations.
On the direct attack route, he could summon portals to shoot projectiles and beams at odd angles(select first square for portal, then second for attack destination). Using his portals he could also catch projectiles and save them up, to unleash them at once on a single target.
Just some of my favourite thoughts for what I'd love to see.

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this (I think 'ideas' might be more apt) but that seems like an extremely fun class. The only thing it would need is some internal synergy to deal with uniques/bosses; classes that rely on large groups for big damage tend to flounder against singular, strong enemies, and those seem to be the biggest threats at all levels (for me at least).
Regardless, I'd definitely play it. I've been looking for a chronomancer that really focus on the spell-casting aspect. While Paradox Mage is fun, its extreme squishiness mixed with the curse of RNG makes things a bit frustrating. You can precog a vault - the best 'defensive' PM has imo - and clear it with ease. Then, after coming back to your body, you can attempt to same thing and end up going from full dead with no warning.
A potential work-around could be adding a spell that lets you 'commit' to a precog state that you like. There'd have to be a trade-off, though, to prevent it from making the player immortal.

Aye, the principle of increasing damage on larger groups is lacking on single targets. The intention of catching and saving up projectiles is so he can shoot stuff into his own portals then unleash them in a nasty grapeshot. A talent that extends the portal lifetime to catch more projectiles, then being able to "Open a bag of doom" from the suspended space the projectiles reside.
