After 270 or so hours of dying, getting slightly further, and then dying again, I finally did it! I beat those two mage-guys down that I don't know the names of! All with a character that I asked my friend to make and they had no idea what they were doing! God bless, Madelynn.
Anyways, now I have to play hard mode or whatever. That'll be a blast.
Here's the character link thingy in case you think my build was magical or something: http://te4.org/characters/120913/tome/c ... a0af9dc417
(and my build wasn't magic, it was willpower)

Congrats.

It's interesting to see a Solopsist build with no sleep at all. Every time I play Solopsist, I put points into sleep abilities almost instinctively, and wonder whether it's worth it. How did you handle crowd control?

Easy enough, put down a maelstrom, wait till everyone is distorted, throw out a disruption wave thingy and then throw out a bolt. Usually cleans up most little guys and stuns some of the bigger ones, then I roll in with neuroshock and the lobotomy one to keep the bigger guys under check.Isotope-X wrote:It's interesting to see a Solopsist build with no sleep at all. I read a guide saying that sleep solipsist is really easy to play. But you know how I said I asked a friend to make my character? She also chose distortion for me. I just rolled with it and I'm pretty sure it went well.
