The early game was relatively difficult, as I invested heavily into Mindlash, but didn't have a high enough tier gem to use it consistently yet. I often had to swap to my melee weapons to deal with enemies while waiting for it to cool down, or for my leeches to come off of cooldown so I could recover Psi. I didn't invest at all in combat accuracy or weapon mastery, instead relying on balanced weapons (of crippling or evisceration, if I could get them) to hit enemies and deal extra damage.
By the time I reached Dreadfell, I had completed the Derth alchemist quest and received the Lifebinding Emerald as my reward. This increased my power dramatically, as it is a tier 5 gem. This meant that mindlash deals 2.5 as much damage as without a gem, as well as having its cooldown reduced to 0. From this point forward, I was mostly using Mindlash for damage.
The master was quite easy, as I had a high enough damage output to kill him before he could do much damage. Lightning aura also helped with his minions as it could hit (and nearly kill) all of them.
The ambush was difficult, but I ended up killing them all, helped by Deflect Projectiles, Phase Door from my cloak, and spiking auras and shields.
The journey east and back was quite uneventful, except for foolishly opening the Room of Death (and dying several times as a result). The backup guardians were similarly easy. I got my helmet (and later, my amulet) from the merchant.
The orc Prides entrances were ideally set up for clearing (or, at least thinning out) with one well placed spiked lightning aura, and I was high enough level by that time to kill most enemies in one or two mindlashes. I occasionally switched to melee weapons for taking out Corruptors, but I had good enough resistances and saves that they didn't damage me much anyways.
I rushed through High Peak to the final battle, easily killing all of the guardians with a combination of Bind for 11 turns and Mindlash for 2500+ damage on an average hit.
The final battle was dead simple. I closed one portal, because I had never won after closing exactly one before, then quickly (~10-15 turns) mindlashed the melee boss to death, and chased down the caster to finish it.
This character wasn't validated as I had a very poor/nonexistent internet connection at the time.
