This was the first character I ever got to the final battle with, and it was vastly harder than anticipated. I busted out the absolute best talents my halfling had, and I could barely dent Elandar. Once the swarm of dragons arrived, things went downhill, since they all clustered around Aeryn so both of the sorcerers were free to focus on the slinger. Her last 6 lives (including her ring of death) were spent in that battle, and Elandar ate 5 of them. His pal got the other one. Even though a critical steady shot could easily result in damage upward of 1200 against most enemies, it wouldn't really bother Elandar at all. I don't think Elandar ever took more than 200 damage from any one of my attacks. Sometimes he took none at all (probably had a shield up or something). Even if I managed to stun him, I couldn't get enough damage into him to even knock a fourth of his life off before he woke up. And then he'd kill me. When I came back from Eidolon, he'd be at 100% again. Even if I'd managed to close all the portals, I don't think I could have ever done enough damage to kill him.
I've seen other people with rings from Limmir that give them crazy good stats, but when I asked him to make me a ring, it turned out just like the rings at Angolwen, only made of voratun and that staff crystal. It was nice, but it was basically a glow-in-the-dark diamond ring

How could I have gotten him to give me fancy moon rings?
