[Cults 1.0.1] Game Crash on Load

Running Windows 7, I'm unable to load ToME with Forbidden Cults active. After selecting "New Game", then T.o.M.E. 1.5.10, the loading screen appears and reaches 100%, then I receive the following error:

Looking through the te4_log.txt (with --flush-stdout enabled), I do not see any obvious errors. The last few lines have consistently been:

Have you tried disabling shaders? Since that was the last thing it was doing in the log.
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

delete world.teaw (it's in the same file as your saves)
I write guides and make addons too now, apparently

Sorry for the delay in getting back, and thank you HousePet for the suggestion to disable the shaders (which I am a little embarrassed to have missed). All seems to be working now.
