This prodigy has been bugged for as long as I can remember and I haven't seen it adressed on the forum in a while (rain of fire has the exact same problem)

When it triggers, there is a real time delay before the meteor comes crashing down. If you play too fast then 1, or even more, turn can pass before it comes down.

Now you could not play that fast but when you have a rythm it's annoying to stop everytime it's off cooldown, or to realise you forgot it was off cooldown and you blasted the empty air since the meteor would have killed them but autotarget targeted them because they were the last enemy you damaged.

Related to this and the real reason this prodigy that I want to find fun (come on, you're dropping a METEOR on those guys head!) is such a pain is that every spell/mindpower that displace enemies is useless with it.

List include blast / flame leash / abduction / mudslide / unseen forces / bone grab / willful strike / repulsion blast / gravity spike / blastwave among other, probably, i don't remember them all.
Funnily all of those deal either phys or fire damage, so gearing for them also buff the meteor.
But when the meteor drops the guys aren't here anymore, because you moved them. On hit(spell) have no problem following the target after it moves, so I assume this is related to the real time delay issue.

Please make this fun (even if poor numerically) prodigy something that doesn't make us scream in frustration when it drops 5 tiles away from anyone. It' supposed to help you start the fight with a stun, it's a prodigy with a cd and it'll be wasted SO often.

I made an addon to fix this. Pretty sad that it hasn't been fixed in the base game despite the bug being years old, though.
