[1.5.3] Telos Crystal message spam

I came across a vault that contained the Telos Crystal. Whenever an enemy stepped on that crystal, the game prompted me with a "which staff do you want to combine the crystal with" popup. All of this spam ended as soon as I picked up the crystal, but it did scare me at first so I'll report this as a bug.
