[1.0.5] BSOD on save

#1 Post by Buenabuena »

Hi!
I started to play TOME about a month ago, downloaded 1.0.4 and imidiately encountered comp restart on every save and/or location change. Search gave me just 1 link to problem solvation.
http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=4 ... =bsod+save
So i installed and fixed 1.0.0 and played it. But after a month of play I really enjoy the game and want to play up-to-date version. I installed brand new 1.0.5 and... the problem is still there.
Please someone help me. I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem.
I use Windows XP SP3 if it matters.

Does it also happen when you start a new game?

Hm, it's strange but now TOME actually don't create BSOD. It just pause and then restart my comp. BlueScreenView don't have dumps of my latest crushes.

Freeze and restart sounds like some part of your computer overheating.

Please try this executable. It still has a call to png_write_png, but is compiled and linked in a different way than 1.0.5.
