[b43] Having issues when going to world map

Movement on world map seems to lock down/not work until all messages are displayed (including current in-world date/time); this can get confusing as there's often a decent delay between messages (so you think you can start moving but can't) and it seems that there's issues with switching to another program and back (IRC/Firefox) while doing this transition, as the loading at the world map takes much longer in that case.

Haven't observed the issue in dungeons, have been playing a Rogue with stealth active which may be part of it? Not sure.

Yeah, having played through to at least Tempest Peak, the lag on being able to do anything once on the world map is only getting worse. Game's still playable (I just tab over to do something else while I wait) but if this can be fixed before b43 proper, might be helpful. Catch me on #tome tomorrow if you want, DG, and I can probably test/demonstrate it while on a more stable connection if that'd help.

EDIT: seems to also kick in to a lesser degree when saving on the world map but not traveling to it (c.f. getting Agrimley's quest reward).

Basically I just seem to be having really large loading times when I go to the world map, and only when I go to the world map. They've been upwards of five minutes before I've been able to actually do anything, and I don't have an indicator of progress as it doesn't seem to be the saving mechanism/saving "progress" bar that it's stalling on.
