particles & LOS

particles can show out of LOS if it is in a radius, and you can see the point of origin, but some other particles from that extend out of LOS.

also, if you cannot see the point of origin, but you can see some squares where the particles affect, you cannot notice the particles.

[edito: this may just be a problem with my mod, unless of course the engine is supposed to handle this]

You must tell the engine the radius of your patircle effect for it to compute if it should isplay it or not, chances are you do not set it correctly

it does display, but only if the tile it is centered on is in LOS.

You probably tell the map that the effect has a radius of 1 but it is in fact bigger

I've got worse problems with particles.

The particles from the mountain in the far east will be drawn over the UI, even if the mountain is not actually on the screen part at all!
