Could anybody write up the recommended zone order for Embers of Rage campaign on Insane?
My problem is that after I've cleared sunwall outpost, I go to the right-bottom thingy like sewers with troll-pirates; after this area, I've been totally dominated in like 2-3 turns once I stepped into the Eruan (twice).
If the problem relies on resistance gear (which I never bother in AoA), would need that info aswell
ACTUAL ORDER I FIGURED SO FAR:
1) (Orcs only) Kruk Pride (2);
2) Yeti Caves;
3) Vaporous Emporium;
4) Sunwall Outpost;
5) Dominion Port;
6 and forth) ????????

Re: EoR Zone Order
I always went straight for Ritch Hives and Observatory. Eruan has too dangerous spawns to attempt it just after trolls.
Re: EoR Zone Order
That's the order I do EoR in so far (a minor change to step five, but I'm putting that up front). After that I generally go:
5) Enter the desert then immediately leave to do dominion port
6) Desert
7) Ritch Hives (these can be switched)
8) Enter the Sunwall then immediately leave to do Observatory (can also go Trolls >Ritches > Observatory > Desert, but this is my usual order since desert rewards are so huge)
9) Ruined Dungeon
10) Save the Orcs
11) Forest
12) Sunwall
13) Digger
14) Enter the time portal then leave to do fight the dead guy on the world map whose name I forget
15) Steam Vents
16) Steam Giant Palace, leave before entering the caves
17) Time Portal
18) Caves beneath the giant's palace
I think I'm forgetting a dungeon or two. If I am, then you do it before sunwall. Lost Land of Poosh, Bearscape, and other random dungeons can be done either before or after the forest.
The three areas where you enter and then immediately leave are very important. They're the places I've found most likely to kill my characters. Enter then leave in order to level set them so they're much less dangerous. It is particularly important to do this to sunwall, because Arwen is terrifying.

Re: EoR Zone Order
Please note that if you can get Shard of Insanity before the Aeryn fight, use it there. She has no mental save to speak of (~36 on Insane in my experience), so Inner Demons just eats her alive.
Also, the thing that kills me most in that fight is "You Shall be My Weapon" critting for 1000+ damage. If you can stay out of melee range and still deal decent damage, do so.
