Hello!

I had a nice game.
Cleared all without to much problems to lvl 24 which I reached in the elven cave.
I hoped I would reach Dreadwell before the crypt would pop, but no.
First lvl I start in a big room filled with various mages.
I use movement rune, and it worked so so.
One of those green clad mages switch position and I get killed.
I had used the resurect potion so I am restored and I manage to kill the rest.
Next lvl the same thing. This time, with some luck and a phase door in a safe spot and I clear lvl 2.
Lvl 3, yet another big room filled with mages.
This time no luck and its game over.

What is the best way for a fighter with no area attack?
Is is sun rune to blind thos buggers?
As it was, I have movement, shield, phase door and regenerate runes.
I also had a small healing skill from a quest which was useful, but not enough.

The best way to deal with the Dark Crypt is to 'Not Enter It'. In terms of Risk Vs Reward, the Risk for going into the Dark Crypt is very high and there isn't any real reward for completely going through it.

If you do enter it, then best of luck - may the RNG be with you because there really is no good strategy for dealing with the enemies there.

When I play a necromancer I usually finish every lvl quite easy.
There gotta be a good way for a solo fighter too.

And 'not enter' is not an option for me.
I refuse to leave a woman in need.

Dark Crypt was fine for me on Berserker. Movement Infusion+Rush+High damage meant I could kill something pretty much every turn, and Unstoppable meant I could survive the burst. But as a Rogue, I'm not sure how. Honestly you might be better off investing heavily into Stealth so you can sneak by them, as I don't think you have the durability to survive 2+ mages focusing on you. Maybe a more experienced Rogue player can weigh in though.

I think something like Dark Crypt which, I would guess, most people would fairly reasonably agree is one of the harder areas in the game at level and kind of requires at least a portion of certain set of skills is something that should not be a one time random event.

Dark crypt is made considerably more reliable with some set of the following things in no particular order or priority:
- blight resistance (because the corruptors do a lot of damage)
- condition removal/prevention (magic diseases/hexes/various physical)
- extra movement stuff (movement infusions, teleport, phase door, shadowstep etc). This is rather important since you can easily zone into a room with many mages, and getting away or taking things from a corner etc can make it so you don't take a massive alpha strike. And of course the corruptors love to do that teleport pull.
- some way to do many damage hits in one turn, often overlooked but very nice against bone shield.
- telepathy(humanoid or demon(cultists are demons for some reason)), helps a lot in any tricky situation
- the ability to do a lot of damage really fast
- see invis, they are shalore and many go invis

If you are melee especially and don't have probably at least 3 of those or more DC can be really really painful and at 24 for many builds there is no guarantee you have all those, especially the blight resistance can be quite random.

Given this I would say the event should really just spawn the area and not be a one time thing. Its especially a pain on higher difficulties even on NM the rares there can be rather dangerous if you have a slow or something that makes you lose a turn and are one of the high damage mage types.

Its a doable place and interestingly hard but it really can take quite some prep, which is fine but you can't prep for it reliably. On characters on higher difficulties I often dread getting the event when I am not ready and just hope I can make it to the next area to level and get loot so maybe I can take it at 30 instead of 24-25.

Stealth won't work well, the corruptor do cones and they will fire them off no matter how good your stealth is at most they will target a square or so from your position and still hit you. A rogue basically has to do hit and run tactics, probably needing decent acrobatics/nimble movements, decent blight resistance, preferrably a movement infusion and some means of teleport, probably use a disease removal charm too and have two good wild infusions. Traps could probably work well if you can get out of the zone into room with 5 elves in it. Also stealth is at a serious penalty when many things are in your LOS, so the layout of DC where you are often winding up in packed rooms is a problem. Its doable it just need like 3 or more things online that many rogue may not fully have by 24.

Rogues are pretty mobile and can do a lot of damage but they are gonna take a few hits no matter how good their stealth, they really need to separate out the herd and staying in the line of fire of multiple mages is probably going to kill you. Something like Smoke Bomb might help a lot, also lure far away from you. All in all I suspect traps is the biggest help as a single talent line.
