I've been doing a lot of research in what makes the Fanged Collar tick, and I've come up with some ideas which may or may not improve it's presence.
1. The scaling with CON could be improved in general. Both Take a Bite and Horror Shell suffer a lot from this; the former ends up with not much in regen, and the latter ends up falling a slight bit short in the strength department for a final skill in the tree. If this can't be done, Horror Shell could be boosted in strength (see: Bone Armour) and Take a Bite could at least be given more heal if you kill someone with it.
2. Take a Bite overrides infusions. This hampers it's usefulness a lot. Giving the regen it's own effect similarly to Invigorate or Vitality would be nice.
3. In my experience, Corrupting Influence tends to diminish the worst after the third point. If I'm sacrificing Nature and Light resist, I'd rather like for it to be worth every point. I'm not saying make me immune to the relevant damage, but perhaps another effect would be nice. Like another corruption-related passive at talent level 5. Off the top of my head, a chance to Disease or similar when being hit by these damage types that scales with CON would be okay.
4. We should have an option to eat Melinda when saved at the very least, or if not at least give a little bit about fighting the parasite's hunger. I get that it's actually pretty nice timing in a horror movie sort of way, but it sticks out a bit. We eat everyone else (or try to anyway) right about when we meet them. Why does it take so long with this specific time?
