Hi, title says it all really. DarkGod said he'll "think about it" and that I should make a forum topic. I suppose so everyone can voice opinions on this!
Example of this being good for players 1:
Skirmishers are really hard to kill if played right, and this is intentional, but they don't have many real weaknesses. Being Pinned (or Grappled) should disable their ability to block and use Trained Reactions, making it a very deadly physical condition to them, and something that must be considered when gearing. There is an answer of course in having high physical saves, but as I said this is up to the player to decide how they want to deal with this weakness, if they choose to.
Example of this being good for players 2:
I want to give Berserkers a way to hit Evasion using enemies more reliably, and it would be a simple thing to give them a move with Pin and have it also defeat Evasion as icing on the cake. Simple, effective, and SMASHY SMASHY.

Re: Pinning Should Disable Evasion Type Bonuses
Giving Pin or Grapple a buff seems fine, but I wonder if this sort of buff should belong on Daze instead. Arguably Daze could see a lot of benefit from this since it's a really heavily upfront status effect that gets shut off easily. Berserkers have a tonne of potential in getting Daze off on enemies, as does anyone who uses Rush. At the very least, Pin has a little staying power, even if it is potentially a little weak.
