Allow option to auto-transmo gems
I don't like having to manually transmogrify all my gems and would be rather fond of an option that lets them be automatically included in the transmo list.
Re: Allow option to auto-transmo gems
Is... is the auto-mog upgrade for the chest not sufficient?
Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing that feature automatically added (or togglable) in the infinite dungeon, thinking on it.
E: Ah, for folks without stone alchemy. Hrm. Yeah, I can sorta' see that, though with gems maybe an option to mass move them into the transmog chest instead of outright automog? They're weightless anyway so it avoids the encumbrance cheesing and gives you a little more control about what you do and don't want to get rid of, since you can move what you want to keep back into your inventory.

But in the campaign, there would be issues. You wouldn't want to auto-mog the Lifebinding emerald, Goedelath rock, Telo's crystal, Prothotipes prismatic eye.... Any other arty gems?
(Might not want to mog Telo's even in the ID, since it can be part of a prodigy.)

Re: Allow option to auto-transmo gems
It wouldn't automatically transmogrify them, it would simply put the gems in the chest like it does every other item. If you want to keep them, then you need to move them to your normal inventory before you change levels. This would actually help players know which gems (especially artifact gems) they pick up.

Ah, yeah. Reading comp fail on my part. Having the gems act like, well, everything else would be pretty alright, methinks.
Though maybe for convenience sake only activate that aspect after you synch with the fortress?

Re: Allow option to auto-transmo gems
This would be a little annoying for alchemists, who might need to manually move several items from the transmo chest each level to make sure they don't run out of gems.
Re: Allow option to auto-transmo gems
they already do anyway, if they're extracting gems from metal items. If you put it in the options menu you could turn it off anyway.

Re: Allow option to auto-transmo gems
That can be avoided easily enough by disregarding the option if the character is an Alchemist or has gem-using skills from some other source. That's the compromise I settled on, at least.Hachem_Muche wrote:This would be a little annoying for alchemists, who might need to manually move several items from the transmo chest each level to make sure they don't run out of gems.
