Post subject:  Do boot addons invalidate save files?

Now here's an oddball question: the Embers of Rage release revealed something extremely interesting — that the boot module can itself have addons. :shock: :mrgreen: So far, I've cobbled together a personal addon that modifies the Addons dialog to flag addons that are part of ZOmnibus (because even I have trouble keeping track of all of them sometimes :wink: ), so that I don't try to enable ZOmnibus and one of its components in the same game.

Now, obviously I can't make this addon "official" by uploading it. My question, then, is whether this "invalid" boot addon will prevent me from logging in or kick a ToME game into offline mode for a "bad game addon version".

Nope boot addons are not loaded for tome module :)
Just beware with them that you have no way of activating/disabling them besides removing them from the folder
