When you shoot an enemy and Warden's Call triggers, summoning a melee clone, that melee clone will deal significantly less damage if it is not dual wielding.
By this, I mean that the mainland hit deals about half the damage it does when you dual-wield.
Method of reproduction:
- Play as any TW
- Learn Warden's Call
- Shoot a target dummy while dual-wielding in your offset
- Shoot a target dummy while only using the same mainland weapon in your offset, no offhand weapon
- Compare the damage values of the clones

(Erenion, you already found out about this, but I'm posting this for the sake of anyone else reading this.)
Erenion mentioned this behaviour in the general chat of the ToME Discord, and minqmay explained that it happens because if the clone is not dual-wielding, the weapon swap from the ranged weapon to the melee weapon(s) in your offset will fail, so the clone makes an unarmed attack.
