The Feed Strengths talent from the Dark Sustenance tree affects absolute resistance, reducing it on the target and giving the stolen resistance to the feeder.
This is easily reproducible by facing the Sher'Tul High Priest (EoR) while you have the Ethereal Form prodigy.
Alternatively, just teach a test dummy the prodigy via the devmode console and feed on it.
Feed Strengths explicitly does not affect resistance to all, so it should also ignore absolute resistance.
Adding to that, nothing should be able to reduce absolute resistance.
