Hey, hi!
I do not know if it's intended or not, but anyone can teleport inside any vault.
1 tile all around, outside of vaults, there are the same vault_ID tiles as inside the vaults.
So, if i am standing next to the wall of a vault (and standing on this "cannot teleport inside" vault tile),
i can teleport inside the vault.
Basically any loot can be picked up and then i can teleport out, without opening the vault door.

you can also get forced tp into the vault by an enemy (happened to me a couple times)
which is potentially great since it gives you a breather fighting whites enemy rather than the rare/randboss who teleported you there :p
