Stuck 'stalked' visual

My character has an overlay of flashing red circles. I think it's what happens when an enemy 'stalks' you. But my enemies are all dead (the ones I've met at least!). Is there any way to get rid of the flashing circles?

My character currently has Stalk and Metalstar visually on him, but no debuff for them. Nothing I have tried gets rid of the effects. It seems like it's occurring because I removed the debuffs with Providence, so maybe these abilities aren't really used to being cleansed like that. Any fix or workaround would be great, as I don't really want to trash a character because of a visual bug, but it IS really annoying to look at.
