I have version 1.6.0, and see there is a new patch 1.6.1. (Rather big for a patch, but still a minor version number.)
In the announcements and release notes DarkGod claims "Your launcher should automatically update your game so no need to redownload it all."
But if I use the launcher, it says I have version 1.6.0 and it is up-to-date - no new patches. And on the main menu screen the information window in the left top says there is a new patch and I should download it from the website. The same happens when I go to te4.org and click on the 'Tales of Maj'Eyal Installer 1.6.1 for Windows' - the downloaded launcher says my 1.6.0 game is up-to-date.
(Note that I don't use Steam and I don't log in.)
So what is it? A bug, a malfunction on my computer, or something that only works when you use Steam?
