Winning the game - bad luck follows

On and off I play TOME only to lose miserably even as umbermensch powerful Archmage with specically taken build from forum often... too often.
I always thought my luck is bad or I have rusted through years of playing. Yet not! I'm not having the worst luck!
This guy enlightened (and prompted me to write this post) me you can have it even worse! ;D
