One character, our hero, destroys the Orc Prides, pretty much single-handedly. It should be possible to have alternate outcomes.
I suggest:
a)Our hero plays a part in creating a far portal to an alternate reality / continent / world that the Orcs escape / immigrate to / are forcefully sent to or tricked into.
a1) the far portal is sealed forever.
a2) the Orcs create a hidden trap door, like before to infiltrate back into Maj'Eyal and the Far East.
a3) a peaceful resolution
b) an integrated society where all parties have respected strengths, weaknesses and roles to play. Perhaps cooperation would be a necessity to face an even greater threat than each other.
b1) each race within it's own area as it is in Maj'Eyal now but more elaborate - different towns within the Dwarven Lands, etc
b2) Conflicts, alliances, betrayal and treachery throughout the lands. Conflicts and alliances within and between each group, nation, class, race, town and even family.
