Respec?
Is there any way to respec points I have noobishly squandered? I know I can unlearn the last 3 or so, but I mean really quite thoroughly respec, even at some huge gold cost or such? So far haven't found any npc or item that helps do so. Am I blind or does darkgod just want us to reroll from the start a lot?
Re: Respec?
No respeccing in base game, beyond last 4 class/3 gen.
You can have that through addons though if you want.

I write guides and make addons too now, apparently
You can go here for a compilation of everything I wrote, plus some other important stuff!
Includes general guides (inscriptions, zone, prodigies), and class guides (Demo, Anorithil, Bulwark, Zerker, Sblade)

Re: Respec?
Hey thanks. Are addons like mods? So I search for tome 4 respec addon? Do you people consider that cheating or illegit?
Re: Respec?
Since its a Roguelike game, rerolling from the start is kinda expected.
You do get a huge number of points by max level though, so unless you have really screwed up your character to the tune of 20 talent points, its not really a problem.
Also, if you have screwed up your character that bad, it should be dead. Or maybe it isn't as screwed up as you thought?

My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

Re: Respec?
Pretty much. There are loads and loads of addons to do everything from adding new races and classes, to entire new campaigns, to automation, to more quests, to outright godmode cheating or playing a race with 100 in all stats from birth. Lots of them are very, very good mods. Since the game part of tome is entirely single player nobody really cares what addons you have, and many (most?) players use some collection of small tweaks or personal preferences if nothing else, zOmnibus being an outstanding example that I use myself. It should be noted though that every player can see what addons you have active on your charsheet so expect some ridiculing if you win the game with something excessively cheaty, but on the whole addons are an accepted and much-loved part of the game.Onomastikon wrote:Hey thanks.
