Shadowstrike and throwing knives

Hello everyone, maybe this is not really a bug but it's completely intentional, anyway...

It apparently the Throwing Knives Rogue ability does not trigger the automatic critical hit from Shadowstrike. It seems that the reason is that once the character throws a knife, first stealth got deactivated, and only then the knife hits the target, thus the hit doesn't count anymore as under stealth. Is this intentional?

It is intentional to the design of the shadowstrike talent that it does not work with projectiles. Whether or not it's a good design decision is a different question.
