Stuck in Hallowed Fields

I am stuck in the Hallowed Fields... I got to the second level, killed everything there and then I have seen that I couldn't get out with the wand. The pumpkin in the middle stayed whole and was unresponsive to skills/attacks/etc. I have reloaded and all the pumpkins, smashed or otherwise, disappeared (see screenshot). The character is a Cronac Paradox Mage. I can just go back to the first level but I cannot leave that either.

This happened to me last year too, twice I think. I had to send my save to have it fixed. Since then I avoid this zone
