DLC downloads rarely working....

#1 Post by jenx »

The downloading of addons and especially DLCs is really frustrating. It rarely works, I have to keep on downloading and it stops some point through incomplete.

I've tried using straight download, download managers etc, to no avail.

... I... don't know? Got it on steam, so I usually just copy over the dlc folder from its junk to my actual T4 folder when there's an update. Lemme try downloading embers off the actual site for once, real quick... and it download fine, all 178 megs without a hitch. Could always be a browser or connection issue for some folks, but at least for me (some version or another of firefox, took about three or four minutes) the main website worked fine.

The T4 launcher thing has actually never worked for me for anything, though, for what that's worth, much less getting DLCs or whatev'. Something about my computer hates it and the feeling is very much mutual, ha.

Certainly don't have problems with addons, other than the search function on the addon pages pretty much never working, heh.

Took me longer to login than to download Ashes. Maybe your internet provider is experiencing some issues? Or some antivirus program is messing with it?
