skeleton reassemble racial gives 2 extra lives

The skeleton racial talent Reassemble gives two extra lives at level 5. The first time you do not get a pop-up window, you just revive in place with the message 'Charname rises from the dead.'. The second death gives the pop-up, with the option to revive using re-assemble. No addons running, embers, ashes and stone warden all installed.

Just to make sure, you weren't wearing one of the extra life items at the time, yeah?

Correct, I was not using the Ring of the Dead. I've had this happen on multiple characters as well. Next time it happens I'll try to add a log.

you could try catch the log at the moment of learning the talent, to see if there is anything funny going on there.
also, you are completely sure you didn't have any other extra lives from, lets say, playing on adventure mode?

... adventure mode is extremely explicit when you die. It doesn't look at all like that log report does, heh.

Had a minor epiphany the other day while killing The Master. The message you get when you die the first time is the same one that undead npcs have when they get their extra life. I wonder if somehow the player is triggering the npc version of the talent?
