What do sunwal guard fight with?

I started out as a Kruk Berserker, and now,. after clearing the tunnel, the yeti-caves and demolishing two levels of a sunwall guard town, I notice that non-steam weapons are almost absent in drops. I've seen four one-handed weapons and no two-handed weapons.

I can understand Yetis not using big swords, but what are those Sunwall guards fighting with? Bare hands?

How about a 'Antiques' shop in the Kruk starting village with swords, daggers and all the other 'normal' weapons?

Or some village stores in the Sunwall village, where you can defeat the owner and plunder the inventory?
