Key binding of volume wheel causes character screen?

If not a bug, it is just odd that when I lower the volume by using the physical volume wheel in the front of my laptop, that causes the character screen to come up (well, mine is bugged from an addon so doesnt come up but the error does).

And I looked in the key bindings and I do not see where this is. Does anyone know?

Also, this makes me wonder if any other thing, like scrolling the middle wheel on my mouse, might be triggering something and I cant see what. I thought everything is in the key bindings but where would these be?

This is fairly common across many games in my experience.

ok? well thats just wierd, how code could do that, when move volume wheel, cause some unrelated thing to happen... one of the reasons I cannot understand code....

I think its something to do with the way the command is sent to or processed by the computer.
I have many rpgs that open the character sheet in response to me touching the volume controls on my laptop.
