1.3 final boss crash with timeline ability

so i was fighting the final boss and winning quite handily but at a point i got a bit low and used the ability that gives you 3 separate timelines to try but when it went to reload the first one it crashed and sent me back to the start of high peak which was infuriating plus i lost two artifacts that i got before and then i died!(resurrected and got an achievement so not so bad but STILL). also may i recommended autosaving at the final boss fight so this doesn't happen again?

Do you possibly have "Save Every Floor" turned off? Its a default setting that should (at worst) leave you on the 10th floor.
