Save won't load, error message inside.

Hi! I'm new to the game, just recently purchased it. Loving it, and loving my level 16 bulwark.

But... I'm trying to load my game, and it's giving me an error message. I saved on the world map.

I'm totally freaking out, so many hours lost. Is this a known bug (i googled, but didn't find anything)... is there a workaround?

Is my save completely borked?
